The pursuit of excellence is a reality that we cannot escape. As we step into the twenty-first century it is becoming increasingly obvious that one of the keys to successfully lifting an organisation and its leaders to a new level is through ongoing training and coaching of leaders.

 Our leadership training and coaching workshops equip people with the abilities and skills to be dynamic leaders.

Churches Responsibility

All you will need to supply is: a venue, computer, computer projector, a table from which we can sell our books; overnight accommodation for seminars more than 150Kls outside of Brisbane – happy to be billeted; and where necessary pickup and drop off at airport. With regards to travel expenses over 100Kls outside of Brisbane, we would prefer to do several venues over a week in one area or several churches together, as this reduce our expenses. We would also appreciate a donation towards our travel expenses.

1. Leading Transformational Change - Leadership Practices for the 21st Century : One-Day Seminar/Workshop

Challenging the status quo of an organization with a dynamic transformational strategic vision and plan of transformational change, then leading that organization through the transformational change, is both an exhilarating and daunting experience for any leader and their leadership team.

The Christian leader also faces two responsibilities in achieving their vision of transformational change as recorded in Scripture. Firstly, that all those who begin the journey of transformational change must also finish the journey and secondly, creating a lasting legacy for those who assisted in implementing the transformational change and future generations to build upon.

The purpose of this seminar/workshop is to better equip leaders for the demands of transformational leadership and to enable them to fulfil these two responsibilities and go beyond the horizon of their present thinking.

The seminar/workshop examines the continuum of transformational and transactional leadership practices to enhance transformational change and the human response to transition of change. The seminar/workshop is also designed to give participants the concepts, tools and practical skills necessary for leading an organisation through transformational change such as challenging the present organisational culture, inspiring long-term vision, creating dynamic coalitions, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, maintaining strategic focus and consolidating organisational cultural change.

This seminar also examines the psychological process people go through to come to terms with the transition of change and the biblical mandate (Isa 40:11) ensuring those who began the change with you complete the change with you. Using biblical and other examples the seminar examines impact of the integration of transformational and transactional leadership practices to enhance transformational change and create a lasting legacy for those that the leader serves and successive generations. Finally the seminar examins the three zones of the transition of change (Ending Zone, Moulding Zone and New Beginning Zone) as identified in the 2T - Model of Tranformational Change.

This seminars is supported by the book titled Leading Tranformational Change. The book deals with the intricacies of leading transformational change. They have been produced after extensive research and discussions with over 500 church leaders across the world, as well as Tony's own personal experience of successfully leading several non-profit organizations through transformational change.

The book and it's study guide are designed to assist the Christian leader and their leadership team by firstly providing practical assistance in implementing executive leadership principles found to be effective in leading Christian and non-profit organizations through transformational change. Secondly, the books offer insight and understanding to the Christian leader and their leadership team as to the human response to the transition of change. Thirdly to enable the Christian leader and their leadership team to guide both their organization and all its members successfully through the transition of change and on to the new horizon that God has for them.

This leadership book also includes a six sessions study guide for group discussion - each session can be completed in 60 to 90 minutes.

2. Strategic Leadership - The New Discipline for 21st Century Leaders : One-Day Seminar/Workshop

We in the church have long been familiar with the struggle against the powers of darkness but now, along with the spiritual conflict and age-old difficulties in taking the Gospel out into the world, we face new challenges that see the church competing for relevance and visibility on a global scale. Leaders within the church and para-church organisations are now called upon to think differently, to create long-term strategic plans and communicate a compelling vision within the organisations and churches they lead. Strategic thinking and planning are now among the prime responsibilities of Christian leadership. Strategic thinking and planning allows leaders to plan for and simulate the future in a rapidly changing world. The very essence of leadership includes the ability to envisage a better future and plan for it.

This seminar/workshop focuses on the arena in which strategic leaders operate. It focuses on the critical role of a strategic leader and the thinking and planning needed by that strategic leader to achieve results.

The seminar/workshop will also provide specific and practical help on implementing and effectively using strategic planning skills; to formulate a mission and vision, gathering and analysing of information in which your organisation operates, setting objectives and goals, formulating and implementing of strategies, and how to maintain the emotional resilience to see the vision of the organisation come to fruition.

This book is written for those leaders who essentially want to be effective strategic leaders in church and para-church organizations. As well as dealing with the spiritual strategic arena in which the strategic leader operates in these times in which we live, this is a very practical book, covering such things as the gathering and analyzing of strategic information, the art of a general, formulating and implementing strategies and emotional resilience to see the vision of the organization come to fruition.

Yes, we do live in turbulent times… but as Christian leaders there is much we can learn from the new disciplines and strategies being developed by our global leaders.

3. Growing Future Leaders - The Enormous Potential of Followers : One-Day Seminar/Workshop

The lasting future of any organization depends upon the principle of succession. Therefore, one of the key issues of leadership is the ability to identify, develop and retain talented leaders who understand and exemplify the organization’s unique culture and vision whilst at the same time lead the organization to a new level of growth.

The things that distinguish leaders from those who shuffle along under the anointing is their ability to implement a succession plan by recruiting and growing future leaders to become giants: leaders of great purpose and direction for the Kingdom of God. However, before the principles of succession can become part of the culture of the organization, the leaders themselves must go through a maturing process where they move from being a charismatic revolutionary leader to a great reformer: a transformational leader. This seminar/workshop explores that journey.

This seminar/workshop also explores the power of mentoring and coaching, as well as strategies for identifying and accelerating the growth of high-potential followers and future leaders so they can through path-goal leadership mature into exemplary followers and leaders. It also explores the personal enrichment and motivation followers to receive through praise, rewards and recognition as well as the benefits the leader receives through the development of trusted lieutenants. This seminar/workshop is for individuals and organization leaders who want to improve their mentoring and coaching skills and develop a coaching/mentoring program to assist others in their professional growth as leaders.
